I have lived in the village for three years and have been involved in a number of village activities. I now work for the NHS as a senior commissioner, but have worked for most of my career in children’s services.
I have worked as a teacher in a number of schools, I was deputy head of a multi-agency children’s centre, I worked as an early years advisor and a head teacher of a nursery school. I worked for 9 years as Head of Early Years and Childcare for Derbyshire County Council and then as Head of Service for Children’s commissioning for the county council, before moving to the NHS in 2013.
I hope that my knowledge and experience will be useful in supporting the developments at Edale school in order to embed continuous improvement for all the lucky children who attend such a lovely school.
